You know when you bowl somewhere for a long time an you do really good there, it's hard to let go of it, so that's what I had to do. But, luckily there were quite a bit of good bowling alleys in the bay area. I bowl at Earl Anthony's Dublin Bowl, AMF Pinole Valley Lanes, and Paddock Bowl.
For Christmas, I got a gift that is very useful to this day. I got a Innovative Bowling Vertex ball spinner, and yes it was expensive, but it's going to be very useful because I can change the surface of the ball by either doing a matte finish with Abralon Pads or do a shiny surface with a polish or compound. I recommend this product for bowlers who bowl in league, and especially tournament bowlers. This may seem expensive at first (it cost me $200), but the pro shop charges you $20-$30 just to get your ball resurfaced while you could do this at home for as often and as many times as you want because if it costs you $20-$30 and you get it surfaced 10 times at the pro shop total, it will cost you between $200-$300!!!!! while at home you can use this as many times as you want without having to pay that much money, so that's why I recommend you get yourself your own ball spinner because you take better care of it when you do it more often and it will really improve your score by a lot.
