I am going to bowl in a North California doubles tournament at 4TH St. Bowl located in Downtown San Jose.I am very excited to bowl in the tournament and I hope I do well.
1. Flatten you wrist (to break rotation) 2. Move 10 boards left of the Center Arrow 3. Draw a straight line over the Center arrow . 5. Make sure your feet are are aiming at the 10 pin.
Note: This May not work if you are bowling on a tough oil pattern, but is good for typical house shots. If you are bowling in a tournament it may be a good idea to get a plastic spare ball
Strokers: Strokers are the bowlers who play the outside part of the lane and don't have a high back swing and/or as much revs as a tweener and a power player.
Strokers like PBA Legend Walter Ray Williams Jr. Play the outside part of the lane with with not as much revs and not as high of a back swing as the tweeners and power players.
Tweeners: Tweeners are typically bowlers with not as high of a back swing and less revolutions.
Tweeners like The left-handed PBA Player Parker Bohn III Play from the middle part of the lane and don't have as high of a back swing and/or revolutions as most of the modern power players on tour.
Power Players: Power Players are bowlers who throw a big hook with a high back swing and a lot of revolutions.
Power Players like pba player chris barnes throw a big hook and usually have a high back swing for a faster ball speed. However, some bowlers control their ball speed with loft if they don't have a very high back swing.
